Rebecca Guptill is a family law, juvenile and criminal defense attorney with the Harris Law Firm PC in Hillsboro, Oregon. She is the current Immediate Past President of the WCBA and previously served as President, President-Elect, Treasurer, and a Director / Board Member for the organization. In addition to the WCBA, Rebecca is on the board of the local OWLS chapter, LAWC, having previously served as its Secretary. She is a member of the Washington County Bench Bar Committee, the Washington County Law Library Committee (LLAC) and the Washington County Law Library Foundation Committee.
Rebecca was born and raised in Oregon, graduating as Valedictorian of Waldport High School. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree in Print Journalism cum laude from the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication in Los Angeles where she participated in the Thematic Option honors program. Rebecca later received her Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law in 2005. Rebecca previously worked as senior associate attorney at the Hillsboro Law Group, and as an associate attorney at both Ridehalgh & Associates, LLC and Cummins, Goodman, Fish, Denley & Vickers, PC, practicing in various areas of civil and criminal law. In addition, she clerked during law school at Clark, Lindauer, Fetherston, Edmonds, Lippold & Collier, LLP and for attorney Carl Crowell. In her spare time Rebecca enjoys cooking, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding (SUP), crabbing, camping, traveling and spending time with her husband, Dan, and their dog, Jack on their floating home.
